Just wanted to say thank you for all your comments - I love reading them and look forward to seeing them everyday. I am having a great time and hope everyone is going well at home. I will talk about our days in Berlin when we get back to our apartment tonight.

The buildings looks so interesting and beautiful. If only they could talk, what stories they would tell! Has Dad completed the work part of his trip yet?
I drove to Newlands Arm (near Paynesville, Gippsland) today and have just lit a big roaring fire. My parents are on their way too, bringing two more crazy poodles to cuddle in front of the fire. Chloe and Luke are getting lipped/groomed at Count Doggulas (Yes, that really is the name of the clipper!) It breaks my heart to leave them, I can hear her whine fifty metres away! Mr Verri is catching a train here in the morning. (He's very excited about that and is bringing his camera to take photos out of the train window - these Americans are easily excited!)
Berlin must be fascinating! I look forward to hearing your impressions of it, as well as drooling over more descriptions of the yummy food you might be trying. Schnitzel for Jack? Strudel for anyone?

Thanks Mrs. Verri, sounds like you are having fun, too! It also sounds as if Luke and Chloe are also having lots of fun! Has Chloe done anything evil yet? Ha ha! As you asked, did anyone have strudel, yes, my mum! I hope every-thing is well- I'll be back in a week! See you soon,
